Through the study of a modern foreign language across the school we aim to develop curiosity and deepen children's understanding of the world.
We aim for our children to understand and respond to spoken and written language and speak with increasing confidence, fluency and spontaneity. They will develop the ability to write at length for different purposes and audiences using a variety of grammatical structures as well as discover and develop an appreciation of a range of writing in the language studied.
