We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
Welcome to St Joseph’s
The School accepts pupils from Foundation 2 through to Year Six before they transfer to secondary education. This means that the children can be with us for a total of seven years, during which time we endeavour to bring out the best in each and every child in terms of their social, educational and physical development.
If you are considering sending your children to the school entry to our Foundation Stage is at the age of 4. Entry is by allocation which means that an application has to be made through the Local Authority (Wirral) by February of the year in which your child is to start school in September.
We are extremely proud of all our children and the achievements they make as they journey through their Primary Education. At the heart of what we do is our mission statement.
‘St Joseph’s is a welcoming, caring Catholic School.
Believing Christ to be in all of us we seek to build a happy and fulfilled community where individual growth is nurtured’
Our mantra throughout each day is, in the words of Christ himself:
‘Love one another as I have loved you’
In order to live this, we encourage all children to adhere to three basic rules of character:
‘Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.’
