  • The Spinney

    This year we have seen an amazing transformation of The Spinney.  The commitment, hard work and enthusiasm of a team of volunteers who have achieved this has been overwhelming.  At the Summer Fayre on Friday 7th July The Spinney was officially opened by local MP Margaret Greenwood.  We are all so excited to use this wonderful space to enhance so many aspects of school life.

  • 'Anti-Bullying' Week.

    Next week we will be focussing on friendships and saying 'no' to bullies. It will be part of the national 'Anti-Bullying' Week. To support our children,  students from Liverpool John Moores University will be delivering some sessions to our children to develop this important theme further.
  • Help Needed!

    Calling all parents can you spare any time on 12th or 13th November to help with the outdoor classroom?

    Many hands make light work as we know! The aim on these dates is to fill the pond with stones and top soil.

  • Infant and junior Awards Assemblies

    Infant and junior awards assemblies will occur this Friday at the usual times of 9.00am for infants and 3.00pm for juniors. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the many successes of our wonderful children.
  • Ten Ten Theatre

    Ten Ten Theatre presented a number of shows to our school before half-term. Three great theatre performances were presented for F2/KS1, Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6. Thanks to the parents and grandparents who were able to attend the parent workshop.
  • Free school meals

    Reminder: All children in F2 and KS1 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. If you have a child in KS2 they may also be entitled to free school meals - further information is available from the school office and/or you can apply via One Stop Shops.
  • An amazing day in London

    An amazing day in London with our Y6 visiting the Houses of Parliament. Thanks to our local MP, Margaret Greenwood, for meeting our children and explaining her role in British democracy. Thanks to all our parents for the very early and very late start!
